Since the beginning of the year, the training and consulting specialist Promotor has taken over training for the products of its parent company DAT Group. The DAT training offer has been bundled in the newly created business unit "DAT Academy" and is now another important pillar of Promotor's portfolio.
"For almost 50 years, Promotor has been deeply rooted in the training business in addition to automotive consulting. Since our company was integrated into the DAT Group in 2020, we have been coaching and training customers using, among other things, comprehensive market and vehicle data from the DAT Group. With the integration of the newly created DAT Academy business unit, we now have the opportunity to manage all of the DAT Group's training offerings from a single source and with uniform quality," says Andreas Serra.
DAT Managing Director Jens Nietzschmann is convinced that the restructuring and bundling of training activities under Promotor will not only lead to more efficient processes, but will also enable even more targeted training offers: "By integrating the DAT Academy into Promotor's area of responsibility, we want to ensure above all that the SilverDAT products can be used optimally in terms of their functions and processes."
Training for every level of knowledge, for every product and every application
The focus of the DAT Academy under the leadership of Promotor is a completely new "DAT curriculum". Here, the most diverse levels of knowledge relating to the various DAT products and applications are mapped out, appropriately tailored training courses are designed and made available to partners.

The DAT Academy complements the broad Promotor training portfolio for automobile manufacturers, importers, dealers and experts. Promotor offers full-service training management that is individually tailored to the respective car dealership as well as to manufacturer and importer organizations - from planning to organization to follow-up. The portfolio also includes special, topic-related training formats. These range from sales, personality, commercial vehicles and aftersales to management. The training can be used live, online in the Promotor Studio, as web-based training or e-learning, video learning, VR / AR training, gamification, podcast / videocast training on the job or as impulse training.
“With an independent team of trainers and a team for training organization, we will now set up all of the DAT Academy’s training courses in the usual professional manner, analogous to our existing full-service training management, and continue to provide our partners with comprehensive support,” summarizes Andreas Serra, Managing Director of Promotor.
