The trained automobile salesman and qualified business economist began his management career as a project manager for training and consulting at Promotor.
Before Serra returned to Promotor as partner and managing director in 2012, he worked for the Fiat Group Automobiles Germany for 14 years in various international management positions, most recently as board member of Fiat Professional.
Since 2020 he has been managing director of the wholly owned subsidiary of the DAT Group.

The passion of the economist with a focus on information management is to derive relevant information for the automotive industry from data.
The son of a car dealership family has been working for the DAT Group since 2018, initially as a consultant for study projects on future market development in Germany and Europe.
Since July 2020, he has headed the Data & Analytics division at Promotor and acts as an interface to the data world of DAT.

The trained industrial clerk gained his first professional experience at a renowned automotive supplier.
This was followed by studying to become a qualified businessman and founding a training agency. Richard Schneider has been working for Promotor since 1996: initially as an author for training courses, later specifically for the used car sector.
Since the beginning of 2024, as Head of Consulting, he has been responsible for all consulting activities at Promotor.
